Next Generation Melvyl Pilot
The UC Libraries have launched a replacement for the current Melvyl Catalog. The site searches the holdings of all 10 UC campus libraries and includes the request function for interlibrary loan. Our website links to Melvyl now go to the pilot site. Try it out, and offer feedback.
New Reduced Hours for the Summer
Beginning Monday, June 22 McHenry Library will be open from noon to 8:00PM Monday-Friday, and the Science & Engineering Library will be open from 9:00AM to 5:00PM Monday-Friday. Both libraries will be closed on weekends. More hours info...

Grateful Dead Gift Archive to Special Collections
The Grateful Dead announced April 24, 2008, at a press conference in San Francisco's historic Fillmore auditorium that the band is donating its archives to UCSC's Special Collections. The Archives document the history of the band from 1965 to the present. More...
